The Mediterranean cypress (Cupressus sempervirens) is a beautiful, tall, upright, and stately conifer. Because the natural growth form of Cupressus sempervirens is already very narrow and upright, the conifer requires minimal pruning.

The Mediterranian cypress is native to northern Italy and southern France.

Mediterranean cypress trees have a narrow shape, making them ideal for accentuating garden lines.

Mediterranean cypress trees thrive in well-drained soil. Despite their compact form, it’s better to prune them once a year (preferably in spring) to maintain a neat shape.

The variety Cupressus sempervirens 'Pyramidalis' has a slender form and is also quite resistant to frost.
