The holly tree (Ilex 'Nellie Stevens') is a winter-hardy evergreen tree with highly decorative, leathery, and glossy leaves that have spiky edges.
In the spring, the holly tree blooms with small white flowers, which are followed by small berries that develop throughout the season. In the fall, these berries turn a beautiful red color and remain on the tree for a long time.
