The Loquat (Eriobotrya japonica) is an exotic, evergreen fruit tree. Its leaves are elongated and gray-green in color. In spring, from late March to late April, the Eriobotrya japonica blooms with white flowers. The Eriobotrya japonica produces edible fruits, but they only ripen well in warm summers.

In short: an attractive exotic plant that is still quite winter-hardy!
